”Freight Train” Digital Starter Set with a Class 217

Prototype: German Railroad, Inc. (DB AG) diesel locomotive, road number 217 002-5, 3 VTG 2-axle tank cars. The train looks as it did around 2010.

Highlights

Model: The locomotive frame is constructed of die-cast metal. It has an mfx/DCC decoder and a 5-pole motor with a flywheel. The headlights change over with the direction of travel. 4 axles powered. Traction tires. The cars have close coupler mechanisms. The set has a switched mode power pack and a Minitrix Power Control Stick (wireless infrared controller). The set also has an oval of track with Radius 2 curved track (outer dimensions: approximately 90 x 47 cm / 35″ x 19″). Recommended board space: 130 x 55 cm / 52″ x 22″.
