Ballast and stones play a very important role in the realistic design of model landscapes. Track ballast is usually mined regionally and therefore reflects the color of the rocks and stones of the region.
With the different types of ballast from NOCH, you can therefore ballast your track bed very realistically. The different types can also be mixed together to create individual colors.
The grain size of the PROFI “Gneiss” ballast for H0 and TT gauges is 0.5 – 1.0 mm.
